The work was done quickly- removing some big cottonwood trees that were too close to the power lines for comfort. 😬 He suggested the cost saving option of leaving the cottonwood rounds nicely stacked. (I really appreciated that budget friendly option) They were able to come by while I was at work and they did an excellent job.It looks great. I can barely tell they were there. I can already tell how much more sunlight is coming in now that those trees are gone, and it allowed space for some beautiful birch trees to grow better. I requested the wood chip be left for gardening and landscaping use. I'm really impressed with the wood chip quality and it's already coming in handy for landscaping. Mike was at our house (quite a bit up KGB) within a couple of hours for a complimentary quote for 8 trees to cut and leave. Far North Tree Services was AMAZING! I had no idea what I was doing -called a few tree removal companies. Mike was able to answer all my questions, came to my property to see the trees, explained how everything was going to be handled, gave me an estimate that was extremely reasonable and said to call him when I made my decision. It was a no-brainer; the other companies I contacted - one was too busy and said it would be a month or so; another said he would look at property on goggle maps and call me; and the 3rd said my trees were very close to buildings and weren’t sure if they would come down without damage!! Mike had already explained the process his company uses when trees are in tight surroundings and reassured me there would be no property damage to my own home or the neighbors. Once I gave the go ahead, Far North was there in a couple days. I was given the option of the trees being cut into manageable sections or removed entirely from property so I didn’t have to lift a finger.
