I recently had Far North Tree Services remove 14 trees from my property, and am extremely impressed with the entire experience. Mike is very professional and friendly. He gave a competitive price compared to other tree removal companies I contacted. His crew completed the job quickly and efficiently, and honestly left the area far more organized and cleaned up than I expected considering the amount/size of trees that were removed. The whole process felt smooth and well managed from start to finish. As a veteran myself, I especially appreciate being able to support fellow veterans and veteran-owned businesses. FAR NORTH TREE SERVICES RECOMENDATION I contacted “Far North Tree Services” on April 15th to request a quote for tree work and Mike the owner came by my home in Wasilla that same afternoon walked down the property with me agreeing on the work scope and lump sum price. I had 20 trees to take down all in areas where fences, outdoor lighting, home, shed, and many other obsticles were adjacent to them, making it very challenging to take the trees down without damaging the basketball court hoop, fence, gate, security cameras benches, powerlines, etc. He called to lock in the schedule an we agreed the during the 16th of April call, for the crew to come the next day. I also had another crew doing building debris disposal from the December wind storms, coming at the same time and area of the trees and we agreed on coordination, which went well. We also during the call agreed on some scope changes and price reduction in a aminable exchange during the phone call. His crew of three arrived @ 7:45 AM April 17th, started climbing trees at 8:00 AM, took them all down by 11:45AM and demobilized at 11:50 AM. The workers were very skilled an worked extremely professional and efficent, as they climbed the trees and took many down in two foot pieces by rope, so as to not damage any existing infrastrure buildings or items in the process, they piled the brush out of the way and departed. Mike came by a hour or so later and there was one extra tree I had them take down, we agree a price for the addition and I paid by check for the project. Mike was easy to work with congenial and straight forward. I highly recomend Far North Tree Services for any tree work you need. Called to have a tree removed. Ended up having two trees taken out that were threatening my house and my neighbors house. They precision dropped both trees and the price was unbeatable. I needed a couple of trees removed that were possibly going to fall on the house. Before the first severe windstorm had ended I contacted Far North Tree Services. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner, Mike was able to come out the next day. Mike was both friendly and professional. I felt his quote (the 2nd quote I had gotten as the other company I tried calling never got back to me) was reasonable and proceeded to hire his company to do the job. Those trees were out just as the first round of winds were settling right into the next round of winds. His crew finished the job safely and also cleaned everything up quickly and efficiently. They left me with a lot less stress and peace of mind knowing I would not have any trees coming down on my house. If you are looking for a fantastic tree company, then give them a call.
